Prayer for Easter
Below is a copy of our basic wedding vows used for ceremonies. Clients are given an option of adding some personal vows, a poem that can be read by a friend or family member, or acknowledging certain family members before the ceremony.
_____ and _____ please join hands. Dearly Beloveds: We are gathered here this day in the sight of God, with family & friends, to witness the giving and receiving of ____ and _____’s marriage vows.
Marriage is an institution ordained of God and is not to be entered into lightly, or in jest, and only after much consideration.
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, and always perseveres. Love never fails.

In Mark 10:6 it reads: At the beginning of creation God made male and female. For this reason a man will leave his family to be united with his wife, and the two will become one flesh. So they are no longer two, but one. Therefore what God has joined together, let neither man nor woman separate.
